Many brides put a lot of thought into their wedding dance.

Yet one woman's extreme list of demands for her guests backfired when it was shared virally on social media.

The woman demanded guests bring a change of outfit for the dance - with a strict dress code based on their weight.

She also demanded that they must spend at least £565 on their evening outfit - as "if you look like trash, so will we."

The woman gave four outfit options with size guidelines in a Facebook post posted months ahead of her 2019 wedding.

Women weighing under 11 stone were asked to wear a green velvet sweater, orange suede pants and expensive red Loubotin heels.

Bigger women had to appear all in black.

Men faced similar demands to wear purple and white with a soda hat if they are thin or all camouflage gear if they are bigger.

In a follow up message, she revealed this was because the bigger people were wearing "black or camouflage outfits [that] represent the aura of the devil that we must shoo away".

Incredibly, the "soda hats" (caps with fizzy drinks attached) "represent our wishes for an abundance of life saving liquid".

The woman, who is getting married in Hawaii, wrote: "I am giving you a long notice of a year and a half so that you will have time to find and pick out something nice.

"The dress code is very specific because it will be used to create an incredible visual effect."

The initial post and dress code:

After the evening ceremony guests must change, but there are more rules for the evening outfits.

While there are no specific requirements, the bride has asked they look appropriate for the "extremely upscale" celebrations.

But the list was shared across Facebook and Reddit sending it viral.

The woman said: "I trusted each and every one of you so intimately.

"Knowing someone went behind my back and made fun of me is one of the worst feelings everywhere.

"And boy, will you be paying."

She then said she would host a "polygraph [lie detector] party" to find out who shared the list of demands.

In another Facebook post the bride-to-be said she had bought a $99 test from Amazon, and unless guests could provide a valid excuse they would be "presumed guilty".

She wrote: "I won't retaliate, I will simply cut all ties and communication with you (and talk s*** about you for a long, long, time.

"If you have any information about who violated my trust and my wedding planning, I will give you a $100."

The woman was also unhappy at everyone else who had commented on the dresscode since it went viral.

Addressing "these internet trolls" she said: "DO YOU F***ING KNOW ME?

"DO YOU KNOW WHY WE ARE DOING THINGS THIS WAY? No??? Then shut up!

"Go back to your scum basement and play video games and never f***ing make comments about people you don’t know.

"My husband and I are certified spiritual healers with over ten years of experience.

"Our wedding colours, fabrics, and intimate synchronized dance are something we hold very dear to our hearts.

"The expensive clothing represents the riches we wish to come.

"The black and camouflage outfits represents the aura of the devil that we must shoo away.

"The soda hats represent our wishes for an abundance of life saving liquid. You get the picture."
